What is the White House pool and why is it in a row with Trump?

The White House press pool is a group of journalists from various news organizations that take turns covering the President's daily activities. The pool is responsible for reporting on the President's public events, statements, and movements, providing a snapshot of the administration's activities to the public. The pool's reports are often used by other news organizations, making it a crucial part of the presidential coverage ecosystem.

The current row between President Trump and TV networks appears to be over the way the White House press pool operates. President Trump has expressed frustration with the press pool's reporting, accusing them of spreading "fake news." In response, some TV networks have reportedly considered changing the way they participate in the press pool or even dropping out of it altogether. This development is significant because it highlights the increasingly tense relationship between the Trump administration and the media.

What's next to watch is how this row plays out and whether it affects the way Americans get information about the President's activities. The White House press pool has been in place for decades, and any changes to its operation could have far-reaching consequences for presidential coverage. As the relationship between the Trump administration and the media continues to evolve, it's likely that we'll see more developments in this story.
